DFW is sui generis. But other authors you might enjoy include Thomas Pynchon, Don DeLillo, and Mark Z. Danielewski.

I would second the opinion of INJANIER also recommend Pynchon and Delillo,plus Jonathan Safran Foer.

Never read him, but I just looked him up. I think I'll have to read some of his work. Sounds interesting.

My fav book is Middlesex. Amazing!

I read the first chapter in 'To Kill a Mocking Bird' when I was in high school. Good for me!
