Put them in a shallow bed of water and baking soda and let them float in the concoction for 72 hours.

I know exactly what you are talking about. Your probably already wearing jeans with 2% LYCRA, am i right? I am not sure what the cause of this is really is but it would be nice to know. When you put the jeans on - they are just right - not too tight and not loose but after an hour or so - they seem lose only in places that you bend - the knees etc. But right after you get them out of the dryer they are a little snug then loose again...

Try wearing jeans with a bit of stretch in them (like 2% Lycra). Wash jeans in cold water and you don't have to wash them after every time you wear them. When trying on jeans, do some deep knee lunges or squat then return to standing position, if the jeans relax more than you'd like, you may have to go down a size.

Buy some with a little lycra in the blend of fabric. This really does help them keep the shape.
