How come people never hear me entering the room?

Hi meg, well although the question is not clear, which kinda room u mean? if it is like a "class" you can share more, don't be shy just do it! and I think people don't have always to show they notice you, I think they do.

If you need to get or be noticed, make sure that happens: say
HI! when coming in, or go around the room and start greeting! It's that simple!

Sometimes, some people treat other people like they are invisible. It can be hurtful if it happens repeatedly.

I say, use it to your advantage. Just be a wallflower, sit back, and take it all in. :)

I am the same way. I will be walking next to some one for like five minutes then i will say something and they will be like "where did you come from"

maybe you walk softly. You know, they could be paying attention intesnely to something else and just don't notice. Sometimes I am like that. Unless it only happens to you, then I am not sure what to say. Good luck ^_^

try dressing a little bit more bold, im not saying wear neon yellow but just be a little more stylish so that when you come in people will say "whos that sexy mama?" and also try to make an extravegant apperance

Maybe you should announce your presence next time by saying, "Hi All!" Then everyone will see you enter and they will know you are there.
