I belive it was the 1930's.... I cant find it in any of my books... the man fallowed her, then left her for dead.. whats the case name?

Kitty Genovese was murdered in front of her home. Thirty-eight of her neighbors heard her screams, watched her die and did nothing. What a disgrace!
