No you can only put videos on the 30, 60, and/or 80 GB Video iPod. The nanos can hold photos but it cannot hold or play videos.
For those who are saying you can* put videos on it, it's not possible. It's called a iPod Nano for a reason, and not iPod Video Nano..

No, you can not play iPod Videos on the iPod Nano. Only on the iPod Video. At least that's how apple wanted it. I spent 10 minutes trying to find this, and I found the solution. Now you can watch music videos on your iPod Nano....Check this out.... http://ipodlinux.org/Main_Page

yes you can but the only way to do this is by installing ipodlinux on your nano.

no, only the 30, 60, and 80GB ipods can have videos on them. thats why i got an mp3 player(their better!!)
