Gray's anatomy (the tv show)?

Okay, so i didn't miss a single episode of season one. But when season two came along I missed a ton! Yesterday i tuned in and saw that Izzy, George and Alex were all mad at Christina for something that happened with Preston, Something about surgery i think it was? I'm very lost and I'd love to know what happened if anyone could help me out! also, Are meredith and Dr. shepard together again? What happened with the vet she was dating?! AND MCSTEAMY IS BACK!? haha I've missed so much! someone fill me in PLEASE!haha :]

Wow, you are way behind! Give me a minute...this is going to take awhile

Okay, When Izzy was trying to get Denny his new heart she cut some wires and caused him to get really sick so that he would be able to recieve a heart before another patient. On his way to the hospital to check on Denny Preston was shot in the shoulder. Denny got the new heart but ended up dying after he proposed to Izzy...it turns out he is a millionare and left Izzy around 8 million bucks! Izzy was very upset at losing Denny and quit for awhile...she came back (without cashing the check, which is still on the fridge) but she is on probation. When Preston was shot Dr. Shepard preformed surgery and when all was said and done he thought that Preston was good to go...however Preston has a tremor in his hand and is having trouble operating. Christina and Preston decided to hide the fact ath he is in trouble and she has been helping him complete all his surgeries. BTW George and what's her name broke up and she slept with McSteamy...George found out and won't speak to her. So George's dad got sick and needed his heart operated on and picked Preston to do the sugery. But George saw Prestons hand shaking when he was doing stitches and figured everything out. When he confronted Christina she refused to give it up...until recently when she told the Chief everything after he asked Preston to become the Chief...so now George is still mad at Christina but no one else is, they forgave her...well we don't know yet if Burk will forgive her or not...that is where the last episode left off...oh and yes Meridith and Shepard are back together after Addison slept with Mark and Shepard caught them together.....

They are mad at cristina cuz she made shepard clear burke for surgery. Burke's hand wasn't ready yet. Merideth and shepard are together, she choose shepard over finn (the vet), and the chief wanted to let burke have his job, but then cristina wanted the chief to know that burke had tremors in his hand. Dr. Hahn, that is the one who didn't want denny to have the heart, woks at seattle grace now, taking burkes job. Izzy isn't allowed to touch, breath, or even help with the patients. Is that enough? So you are saying you haven't watched the show in a year and a half.

Let's see Addison Arrived and got back with Derek only to be followed by her ex lover Mark Sloane, McSteamy a plastic surgeon and Derek's best friend who wants her to go back with him to New York. Berek winds up hitting him and moving in with her only to find he still loves Meredith. Eventually he divorces Addison giving her almost everything, only to be told by her that the affair between her and McSteamy started long before he found out and even after he left her.

Derek got back with Meredith who had just had her appendix removed by 007, George, and while she was under she came to the realization that Derek was the man for her. At that point, Meredith had been dating Derek and Finn, McVet, who was there to treat dog but he died, dog, and Meredith chose Derek Anyway.

Then, you missed the whole Izzie Denny romance where she fell in love with a patient and then killed him trying to get him a heart. He died after he got the heart leaving her 8.7 million dollars that she has yet to cash the check.

George slept with Meredith during one of her drunks. She woke up and cried when he told her he loved her. He moved out and wound up with Burke and Yang unlti yang walked around naked to get Burke to kick George out. George wound up falling for Callie Torres in the ER but he could not tell her he loved her after the Meredith incident. She broke up with him and wound up sleeping with McSteamy which she regetted. George eventually was told by Alex that Callie slept with Mark and George was about to get all into her face over it when his father was rushed into emergency with a broken collar bone, esophegial cancer, and a heart valve problem.

Of course Burke would have done the surgery but George became suspicious that Burke had hand trouble and Christina was covering up for it. Back in the whole Denny Izzie love affair, Preston got shot in the shoulder by a person trying to kill a patient outside the hospital. Derek fixed his sholder but some scar tissue left Preston with a tremor. Instead of telling Derek th truth and have the arm reworked, Preston and Christina teamed up to do surgeries. They were doing fine but Christina was getting tired, Bailey was getting suspicious of her, and Preston was up to be the next chief when Richard retires. George's father having to be operated on made it all come to a head and Christina turned the two of them in. Bailey is mad about there being no punishment but that is just too bad.

Speaking of Bailey, she had a baby boy, George Bailey Thompson while her husband was having brain surgery by Derek and Preston and Meredith had to remove a live morter shell out of a man's chest. Everyone survived the experience but the bomb squad.

That is some of what you missed and all of what you asked about except Mark moved in permanently to the show and Richard wants to retire because his wife will divorce him if he doesn't.
