Penis size hereditary?

Question

I am a guy and I am 14 years old. i understand that penis size is genetic but i still had a question. i have seen my dads penis flaccid, and it is pretty big/long. i don't know the exact length, obviously, but it appears to be 4-5 inches soft. i have pubic hair but i dont have facial hair, my voice isnt really low yet, and i only have a little underarm hair. My penis isnt close to that length soft tho. Is it going to grow bigger because i am not finished growing, or is penis size not that dependent on genetics, and more random? p.s. i understand i shouldnt worry about my penis size because i cant change it (and that ill go crazy) and girls dont care about it and its more important about how you use it and... but i was just wondering out of curiosity about the difference in size even though he is my dad. thanks!

also, would it not be the same size because of my moms side of genes?

After reading some of the opinions on this matter. There is only a couple that I saw that was worth reading and without bias.

There is nothing wrong with a young person asking sexual questions. Someone should help him out regardless of age. If you mock, then you are a repressor. And religion has NOTHING to do with genetics. Neither does SEX, sex is natural and all animals do it. Yes, humans are considered animals, unless you prefer being a plant.

The advice/opinions that I read that are correct is that:

It is hereditary, but keep in mind your mom's side of the family can be in play as well, genes don't necessarily come from your specific parent, it could come from a grandparent and so on. And technically, it's variant on when you will stop growing. May be all the way till you're 21. Some stop at 16, you never know. Don't be worried about it though. I am sure your penis is fine. It sounds like you are STILL going through puberty at this time.

Be worried about getting older, where some things never stop growing, like your ears and nose.

Peace keeper is correct, however, you need not take her advice on seeking a christian preacher. These sad individuals can be even more perverted than your average citizen, they will just hide it better.

You are just a kid and you are still growing. Genes are only one of the many factors in the development of your body and your size. If your dad is larger, you might even have a genetic pre-disposition to be larger than most other people. But this genetic code will not matter much if you do other things that will hinder, or stunt your NATURAL growth process. In other words, if you are naturally designed to be larger than normal, but you continue to polute your body during your growth process, you may NEVER reach your optimal size(natural size).

What I'm saying is that you are still growing. You need to exercise correctly, eat a healthy diet, AND DO NOT SMOKE. Putting marijuana smoke or cigarette smoke inside your body is toxic, unnatural, and it will STUNT YOUR GROWTH. If others try that peer pressure on you, just tell them no, and that youd much rather be able to satisfy the ladies, rather than obtain their respect.

Since I have answer to many of these question regarding penis sizes, i recollected most of my answers, read it and you make be satisfy with a correct answer.
Is a little less than average, but i could predict that at least 20% of males are of that size or under ;) , well actually height does not matter, some people over six feet tall dont have a 5 inch dick! I came up with this after researching it!

The ideal penis would be above average size (if you were given a woman what would you pick the same girl with smaller or bigger breast? yes is possible you pick above average and not to big either, is the same thing for penis..) what would that size be? hmm I would definitely say 7-8 inches x 6 inches of circumference..thats a bit bigger than porn actor though, most porn actors have between 6-7 inches but since their are bellow 6 feet their penis look bigger on them... and so there are porn actor with more than 8 inches...(note that those male actors on the internet with mega penis are mostly the same people...there aren’t many with over 10 inches...) like I said is preference some woman may prefer something smaller then 5 inches... or something bigger than 7 ... but at the end you will love a woman with small tities you usually never dump her for that.... it happens to be the same with women and our penis... I had like 6.5 when I was 16 and now I am 18 it is 7.3,.. Don’t feel bad, try doing exercises like stretching! maybe u gain something in 1 month! keep going if u see any gain maybe instead of gaining 1 inch.. u gain 2-3!

yo, u have 4 in so what? u can satisfy any woman, plus u are oriental so u may be with Orientals so u are in the normal size for Orientals.. even a person with 3.5 in penis could satisfy an oriental woman! try doing penis massages, i dont know if they work. If you really are 14, this is way too graphic for you or others in a public forum and you may attract some real perverted people here. Talk to your parents about it or the school nurse. A confident Christian man isn't worried about this issue son because it has nothing to do with character and lasting love in a committed marriage relationship.
