Dictionary.com says that a poser is a person who habitually pretends to be something he is not but what does that exactly mean? but what if someone is one way and then realizes she isnt really that way deep inside so she changes what she used to be does that mean she is a poser?

I think that Queen Maria only said that becuase she seems to want to answer smart questions but because she really isnt that smart at anything but the English language it made her feel more powerful. Am i somewhat right or totally wrong?

A poser is someone knowingly pretending to be something he/she is not. For example, if I wore dark eye makeup and a black cape and talked about NOTHING but Marilyn Manson, I would be a poser because that is not at all who I truly am.
If you act one way and later realize that you want to change to be a different way, that is not being a poser. That is just getting to know who you are inside. Everyone goes through changes in personality on the journey to discover their true selves. That isn't posing. :o)

A poser is someone who judges others and is really mean usually pretends to be nice but they are hateful and fake. May involve bleached blonde hair, talking about themselves a lot, hating actually sweet and cute people that everyone else likes. A poser is someone who will try and force themselves on you and you already know that they are and you don t associate with people like that.

Okay, lets say that just because skateboarding has become a trend (which it has). And everybody (whether they can ride it or not) carrys around a skateboard, just for the look. That person is a poser, because they aren't real skaters. They are just carrying the skateboard and dressing the style, to fit in.

Yes, a poser is someone who pretends to be someone he's not. Someone who just "poses" just to be on the "in" crowd. A poser is like a "pretender". Hope you get what I mean.

If you have actually changed, then I don't think you can be considered a poser.
