How do you tell a guy that you've led on for like months that you don't like him [just as a friend]? I plan on telling him tomorrow, but it's like what do I say and how do I say it?

Honesty is the best policy. I know others would tell you to lie, but trust me it comes back to haunt you and bite you in the butt. Just let him know that you didn't mean to let him on, but he's just like a friend you can lean on or talk to or whatever you do with him. That's he's like a brother to you and that you don't see him as anything more than that and if u hurt him and he wants to leave u alone you understand, but you had to be honest. I know they say, say it to face to face, but with this day and age you might want to have a friend close by when u break the news or just do what some do now send a IM, text, e-mail, note, or letter letting him know that if u don't trust him being calm. Its best to be honest but its best to be safe also. I pray it all works out for you hun.

Well, my first point, why didn't you tell him before? It would hurt him less if you told him during the first one or two months!
Just tell him that you think that for the sake of your relationship you should just stay friends, and that it would be easier that way.

I had to do something like that once. I said the classic "I think we should see other people" Or you can just be honest. Or you can say something nice (you can lie) Like "I think honestly your too good for me and I want you to have the best " or Something down. He proberly really likes you so let him down easy.

actually tell him the truth that you rather just be friends and that your really not ready for all this that you really need a friend instead of a boyfriend just talk to him from the heart and let him down gentley let him know that mainly it isnt him but you need time to figure this all out just let him down gentley and let him know you really do care but you need to do this for your self really what you need to say is inside your heart and when its time your know eactly what to say good luck

well...first off dont tell him you have been leading him on..thats mean....just tell him..hey I am sorry but I just want to be friends...and be nice about it..dont go telling him..yea I have been leading you on. I dont like you...blah blah blah..that would hurt your feelings if someone you liked said that to you...so just member this DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU..meaning..if you want people to be mean to you...be mean to them..make sense??
