I think I'm pregnant. I just stopped my bc pills about a month and a half ago, and started TTC. I had a period within 3 days of stopping my pills and have been havin gintercourse on my ovulation days and everything.
But I think I got pregnant already! My breasts are really tender, I'm fatigued and nauseous, and I never have PMS symptoms like these at all. i get some light cramping when pre menstrual, but NEVER tender breasts, nausea or anything.
My period isn't due until the 12th. Should I bother testing now or should I just wait.
I know that it isn't all that likely to get pregnant right after stopping BC pills, but I am also VERY fertile... lol. Sorry if its silly, I think I am just excited and really want to know if I'm pregnant.
So basically, to test or not to test?

hey i will make this easy for you, you can test 17 days after you have sex the preg hormone shows up 17 days after u have had concieve so if it has been 17 days u can go ahead n test instead of waiting for your missed period, they say wait till u miss ur period because it is the first sign of beig pregnant and the hormone should be well into your system by then. good luck hope ur preg!

I fell pregnant on the pill with my first so it all depends on for fertile you are, on how fast you will fall pregnant. It is too early to take a test but if you haven't got you period a couple of days after the 12th just go straight to the doctor if you can't wait and you will get a yes or a no and not any maybes. Good Luck

Wait until the day your period is due to test. Testing this early would be a waste of money and pregnancy tests are expensive.
I don't mean to be a downer but it took me 2.5years to get pregnant after stopping the pill. In that time I know I took over 35 pregnancy tests before finally having a positive result. Every time I tested I was sure that I was pregnant. My only point with this is that you may end up buying alot of pregnancy tests in the near future and it doesn't help if you take the test before it could even be positive. If you want to know sooner than you should try to schedule a blood test with your doctor.
I hope you're pregnant. Congratulations!

Hey girly! I really hope you're prego too, but my advice is to wait. Is this your 1st pregnancy? If so your hormones might not be at a testable level quite yet. I know for sure I wasn't feeling myself when I began feeling some pregnancy symptoms, and yet, all the pee tests except one were negative (waste of $$$), and the dr. pee test and blood test last week were negative. Then yesterday evening (9 days after my period was due!) I tested and it was faintly positive. Today it was a stronger pink line, so I'm going back to the dr. We ALL hate playing the waiting game, but I would advise waiting at least a week after your period is due. It will take a lot of patience, but it will save you a lot of money and stress in the long run. Hope that helps!

I think it is to soon to test now if your period is not due until the 12th. If you do not get the period on that day, then take the test. If the test is negative and you still have not received your period a week later then take another test.
Good luck to you.

EPT can test 5 days before your period is due. so wait a few more days. I don't know of any other test that can test sooner. Possibly a serum test at the doctor's office could tell, but definately not a urine test.

no point in testing now...too early to tell, you'd get a negative even if you are pregnant. The hormone needs time to build up to be detectable by the test.

You know your body better than anyone else. If you feel like you are then you probably are. I'd go ahead and take a test. Why drive yourself crazy wondering if you are or not? Good luck.
