OMG..There is no meaning..Its a song to get the fans pumped up. When the fans are pumped, perhaps the players play better.
he second part of that song was first introduced in a Montreal Canadians Final. They won the cup, and they were the first to use WE are the Champions, after winning..Since then we will rock u and we r the champs have been a fixture in hockey. But iits for the fans. Like metallicas seek and destroy, orQueens another one bites the dust..Its to give off energy and excitement.

Meaning we will kick you ****... beat you in the game. Etc etc. Hello! Queen is like... the all time Hockey band. "We Are The Champions" can't go to a hockey game without listening to them!
