sponges are for poor people who cant apply make up.
make up gets soaked into the sponge dont believe someone when they say wetting it doesnt make that happen thats not true so if u want to use a sponge you should just dip half your foundation down the sink, use a brush it will look better and even and you wont waste any foundation
i do admit i use a sponge only to blend all my liquid foundation in but i use a brush all the time!

Brushes for everything. You use less foundation with a brush. Also, brushes blend easier and it is better with your skin because you wash it everyday instead of using a sponge until you throw it away. A lot of makeup artist prefer brushes.

i would say that if the powder is loose, then you should use a brush, but if the powder is compact, then you should use a sponge!!!! just be careful what kind of brush you use, some brushes can irritate the face!!!!

Makeup is like art, you can make artsy crafty (crappy) result if you don't research your products and tools. just like when I create a painting, your face is a canvas. it comes in different textures and absorbs oils and light differently.
One, make sure your products have the quality the meet your expectations and budget.
2- use the proper tools to apply it. and learn to use it properly, practice make perfect
I truly believe after 10 years of experimenting on makeup and painting canvas that there is nothing better then a true quality brush. if you end up mastering the brushes, you can transform any flaws into magic and perfection.
you have the potential to become and create everything you desire with knowledge, practice and good tools.
in other word, I meant, use a brush for everything...

It relies upon on what coverage/end you desire to your pores and skin. additionally, it relies upon while you're employing those strategies with a liquid, cream or powder formulation. oftentimes a stippling brush is eye-catching in case you like an extremely organic or sheer seem...it buffs and melts product into pores and skin for a gentle glow. although in case you like the alternative of a fuller, perfect coverage, choose for a commencing place brush, which you would be able to truly stipple in the areas you desire to construct, yet use longer strokes to sheer and unfold. As for the micro organism point, any brush or sponge used on the face is open for micro organism, and all strategies could desire to be washed regularly. terrific thank you to tell, pass to a save and attempt each on one million/2 of your face to work out which one works right for you.
