Depends on where are the people you asked this question come from!
I know some people in England who love both Cricket and Football equally. People from India and Pakistan will surely said Cricket as it's part of their culture just like American people with their American Football.
But me personally of course it's football. I could not stand cricket I could not understand cricket at all. How can you like something when you didn't understand it?? Football is simply the best and the greates game on earth for me.

Football is ten times better than cricket, I don't even know how to play cricket. But if your talking about football as in soccer it is still better.

It depends on the mood. The great thing about football is that you know when it is going to end, it also tends to be more exciting.
Cricket is something you need to take the day off to watch...sometimes it seems eternal.
I would have to say that I would ALWAYS pick football above cricket

For me i like cricket (Don't like the test match that much specially wen its one sided).because i am a sri lankan .....and that's the only sports we play at international level.
i don't like football for 2 reason ..it can end in a draw in most cases and the people who watch most are hooligans.
other than cricket i like rugby ..
