I would advise against it. For the short term it should be fine. The problem will arise when the roots start growing. Weeping Willows have very large roots, and the will start destroying the wall. If you must, no closer than 20-30feet.

you're actual right that a weeping willow tree is incredibly thirsty. it may well be planted the place the water table is extreme, or close to a flow, and much removed from sewer pipes, water mains, wells, and septic systems. We had one in our back backyard for a on an identical time as, yet between the community brats enjoyed pulling the putting branches off. That broken the bark and allowed insect infestation, so regretfully we had to take down the loss of life tree.

Excuse me master gardeners! Roots don't head for the wall to destroy it, and besides the weeping willow wants lots of water. If the water is under the wall (doubtful), you might have a problem. Otherwise plant it.

Over time the tree roots will eventually push the wall out causing damage. Just try flowers or shrubs or something instead

I would'nt. their roots spread out after time and any type of construction could be in jeapordy, whether it s a wall or a sidewalk, the roots would eventually undermine it

you could if you don't want to keep the wall very long. the roots will eventually wreck the wall.
