The middle class changed profoundly socially as well as economically. For Example: The once defined barrier between the nobility and the middle class began to blur and with the industrial boom going on, there were more middle class than before.
They became a powerful and influencing body who gave shape to Europe. The middle class also became much more wealthy than they had been before because of the economic drive that occurred during the Victorian era.
Remember, England was a growing empire during this period of time. There were plenty of opportunities for profits to be made during this time.

middle class dont change only the ritch get richer or poorer or the poor get richer ,it us a shorter didtance between the poor and the 'middle ' than poor and the middle.
the change was no doudt a rebellion ,but it is the poor who rebelled
make too many from the middle to the bottom they stir up the poor
how it happens is a facter in histry that is comming to fruit real soon
its when trhe middle poor working class slobs are forced to become wageslaves ,when even two jobs cant buy you a goiod medical service ,when the middle sinks so does the top,poor got no where else to go

i'd say - resources vendors with none dependence on authorities, many times nicely knowledgeable - financially nicely off in words of living criteria, affordable prices, retirement plan, potential to provide for little ones. yet no longer intense wealth.
