You won't have much luck if you start with a four-inch heel! You'll be waddling all over the place! Definitely start with a kitten heel and work your petite size to the max! Even pointy-toed kitten heels are cute. Once you're used to kitten heels you can progress to a higher heel. Doctors actually believe that the healthiest option for women is a good-quality shoe with a 1.5-2 inch heel (it best matches the natural arch of your foot and the shape of your back).

Hello :)
I don't think you are too young to wear heels but I would avoid really high ones. They can cause posture problems, feet problems, and, if you are not really careful, you can fall. Walking in such high heels is much harder than it looks and is hard on the balls of your feet. Because of the slope of the shoe, the brunt of the impact of each step is on the balls, cause foot pain.
The second pair is really cute, but you could find something similar in a shorter heel. The first pair is a nice heel, but those are a little 'old ladyish' for an 8th grader. Go for comfort and style and probably go no higher than 2 inch heels..maybe 2.5 if it's a really special occasion. If you do choose to try out a higher heel, keep your skirt length in mind. It's a double standard, I know, but a higher heel and shorter skirt gives off a bit of a 'loose' image, not what an 8th grade girl is wanting.
Keep the styles cute and young and you'll be fine!
Happy shoe shopping!!

There is no moral component to shoes. It's really the outfit that you would wear with such a shoe that might make people raise their eyebrows. Obviously, really tall spikey heels are more for the 'sexier' outfits you really shouldn't be wearing.
You're definitely old enough to wear heels. You shave your legs, right? Then I see no problem. They look better with skirts and dresses anyway, after all. I've been wearing them off and on since 6th grade.
Pointy toes make your legs look longer and leaner. Usually, if the shoe is made correctly, your toes will stop before it starts to pinch off so that way your feet wont hurt. At your age, though, you probably don't need to worry about how long or lean your legs look. Skip pointy toes if you can, because your toes could still get pinched after walking in them all day and it's just such a hassle.

I think you shouldn't start before you're 12 just because you're still growing. If you want to wear them on a regular basis then you should be very careful because it can cause complications since you're young. I'd go with a the kitten heel instead of the 3-4 inch. Have you considered a small platform instead? Those will put your entire foot at more of an equal height off the floor instead of putting a lot of stress on the ball of your foot. I know it sucks being short (I'm only 4'11) but heels can hurt. I don't think you're too young from my moral view but I would worry about any possible health problems since you are still growing.

i dont think your too young, but i wouldnt recommend wearing them everyday. Every now then its nice to get a little dressed up,
if your going to be walking around school, i was deff suggest starting off with the kitten heel and see how you do. its alot more walking than you think. if this is for a special event, you could really go either way depending on the occasion. But if this is really your first time wearing heels, or you just almost never wear them, i think that you should try the kitten heels first and work your way up.
Payless has really nice ones at affordable prices.

I think you should wear the shoes that make you feel good about yourself, and are also comfortable to wear all day.
Heels that are too high can really pinch your toes after a few hours, and they can also make your leg muscles ache over time.
The best solution is to change heel heights during the day. Like maybe wear sneakers to school, then change into a higher heel during the day and back to sneakers to walk home.
Make sure the shoes fit well - not too big so they feel like they're falling off, and not too small so they pinch or squish anything.

Are you wanting heels to make yourself appear taller? Theres nothing wrong with being short. In fact, many people find it cute and sexy! As a short girl you have more dating options. Really! Chances are you'll find a guy taller than you, and most guys like to be taller.
In my subjective "moral" opinion you are too young to wear heels like the ones you've picked out.
Simply from a style point of view, these are also wrong for you. At ANY age, its important to dress age apropriate. If you dont, you end up looking funny.
If you'd like to add a few inches to your height and still be age apropriate and in style, try a wedge heel. This is also safer for your feet. A true heel is terrible on your feet and after years of wearing them I have seen many women with disfigured and painfull feet.

Well, I' in 9th grade, and I love wearing heels. I wear them all the time if the weather is right and my feet don't hurt. But, I also love wearing flats because I am very tall.
I started out with the little heel and worked my way up. That way your feet can get use to it. Otherwise you will kill your feet.
So, start out with the smaller and work up. But listen to your feet!!!! When they are done, they are done. No need to hurt yourself just to look taller.
And make sure you practice walking in them before you decide to wear them to school. You don't need to look silly just because you want to be taller.
I had to practice for at least a year before I could wear the high heels. I have very weak ankles, so I had to just work on it. No need to rush this, you can wear them for the rest of your life once you get use to them.
Hope this helps!!

I'm in 8th grade too, and people wear anything from flats to stilettos. I like the second pair that you had, but maybe in only a two-inch heel.

It's not too young, and I prefer high heels. Those tiny heels are hard to walk in. Plus the higher ones are much cuter. Luck!!
