The answer is yes-------

One of the world's greatest NBA basketball player was cut from his middle school basketball team---------yet he did not allow this to stop him!

That player is Michael Jordan-just imagine how his life would have been if he had given up and allowed others to tell him he was not a good player!

Just keep practicing the fundamentals of the game and soon you will get better!

Don't give up!

Jordan got cut from varsity as a soph, he made JV. Ppl seem to think he just like got cut from the soph team, he just didn't make varsity as a soph. Oh yeah and he had olympic caliber athletc ability, and grew to 6'5, from 5'11 i believe in one summer. He didnt just practice and get better, im sure he improved but dont underestimat the difference being a 6'4-6'5 2 guard and a 5'11 tweener. His growth spurt i'd estimate had 75 percent responsibility for his improvement.

definetly. Michael Jordan was cut, and look at what he turned out to be....but he worked his but off to get there. I think if you practice and show your coach u r a hard worker, that you should make it next year,,,,and i would say don't let it dissappoint you but u should let it and that will encourage you.

Hard work can get you anywhere. Just ask Michael Jordan. +

He got cut his freshman year of high school, and he turned out okay.

anythings possible. if you believe that you can do something, then go out there and do it. itll never hurt to try. all you have to do is practice, practice, practice. and next year when tryouts start, go in there with 110% confidence and show those coaches what you can do.
