How do you think the "odyssey" of Odysseus symbolic of the odyssey of all people. I know this requires some deep thought and reflection, but i want to know your opinions. thanks. 10 points for most interesting.

His odyssey was not only a physical journey through foreign lands but also an internal odyssey as well. On his journey, he discovered many of his flaws, such as boastfulness. After recognizing these problems within himself, he sought to fix them and improve himself. This relates to the odyssey's that all people go through to attain perfection or improve themselves.

You travel a lot, you get in all sorts of trouble, you waste a lot of time & energy, and in the end realize you should have stayed home and enjoyed all along instead; so you return home like an old fart and live the rest of your days munching on regrets.
