The invasion of Iraq was wrong but it is important to understand that the presence of US and alied forces there now is legal and justified.The US is no longer illegally occupying Iraq since the current government of Iraq is recognized as the legitimate government by the UN and they asked for the US and allied forces to stay.
Polls indicate however the Iraqi people would prefer to see the US and coalition forces go.And most of the Amarican people would like that to

This compares with 14% in the first opinion poll the Defense Department in 2003. Simpson attributes much of the change to the 2004 attack on Fallujah.

I think it's easier to see the proof and know that the Iraqis wanted our help.

When did you become an expert at running a war? Have you ever served or been in charge of a war? When you get some real military experiance at being in charge then yu can ask these questions!

Most civilians do want us there until they can put their own government in place . I guess that is was o.k. for Iraq to invade Kuwait . At least we removed a murderous dictator from power .

I think its easier for people to convince themselves that if he hug everyone and give them what they want, tehy wont hurt us.
truth is they, both IRaq and afganistan insurgents, want us dead.
