Technology makes it less likely politicians will commit outright graft from the government they will have to depend on wealthy donors for that. Technology will improve with goggle earth, and people will know where the earmarks, and government pork are going. The best government is small government where you have the decision making power not a person in Washington, or London. I think small local government is the way to go because it harder to skim money off 5000 taxpayers instead of 300 million of them, Internet in a couple years will exposed more of the pork barrel politicians in all political strips. I love the WWW invention, and the old timer politicians hate the Internet since public information makes it harder to become neglectful to your own citizens.

The Government has more control. Now the workers at the DMV can take longer coffee breaks. As the Government wanted, more de-socialization of Americans to draw us further apart.
