Don't worry, as long as they still make money they'll always be around. Just look at The Rolling Stones from the seventies! Disco!.....Disco! No bad idea is passed up if it can make money.

in my opinion old greenday from like the late 80's is better and i dont think many people will care about a new CD

Well... they released their last album American Idiot on September of 2004, and they just done a song with U2 called 'The Saint's Are Coming'. They will probably start doing the new album in 2008 and I reckon it'll be released early 2009.
