Dear James,
When I was a teen I wrote in my diary, "Someday I want to read the whole Bible".
I learned the hard way that I should not have waited for Someday. I didn't end up reading it until about 30 years later when my life was falling apart at the seams.
I did finally read the Bible from cover-to-cover and found it to be so good that I couldn't put it down and I finished reading it in 90 days. Now I read a Bible each year - this year The Daily Bible in Chronological Order.

Of three things : Love/family, health, and money/success --you can have only two at a time. Having all three at the same time usually happens a year before you die.

It was when I realized that I don't know very much about anything at all and the things that I think I know are subject to question.

Don't commit to a religion until you are absolutely sure you agree with everything about it. Don't let anyone force you into it.
