I can't stand that channel.
"Let's empower women by giving them their own cable channel! And, let's fill it with emotional, touchy-feely programming, badly filmed and poorly acted movies, and no actual content!"
Set women's lib back by about 50 years.

no can't really say that I do like it. I'd like the sappy movies but they do seem to show a lot of women getting beaten, raped and killed. How about a nice love story or the woman being the hero not the victim.

No, it's lame, and there's always some woman in terrible danger who for some bizarre reason doesn't seem to realize it till it's way too late. And then everything looks the worst it could possibly be up until the last 30 seconds of the movie, when suddenly she is saved. Then the credits roll and state that this was a true story, and I think, "Oh for God's sake! Not again."

I HATE the lifetime channel. It sux so bad!! The movies are trite, melodramatic, and lame. Not to mention intellectually insulting...they're as bad as soap operas. That's "entertainment for women?" UGH!

i like it. thats not all they show. most of those are true stories and have good endings. nothing wrong with seeing bad and good things Vs only one or the other.

They should name it "The Connie Selleca/Patty Duke Network" instead, because they are in every one of those movies they show on there.

No it's absolute mindless crap. It's the type of thing that men think women want to watch. I find it really offensive that programming for women is such uninteresting, unintellectual drivel. We are not all frustrated housewives with no interest outside of gossip mags, ghoulish murders, snotty-nosed children and home decorating.

i like the sitcoms that they show. the movies are a little depressing and they all seem to be the same, but once in a while a good one is on.
