I used to work at Disneyland and worked a couple Christmases there. I didn't mind it when I was young and didn't have a family.
I don't understand what the big deal is? People can request a day off if they want. And anyone looking to work at Disneyland should understand and know that they are open 365 days of the year, no matter what holiday it is. If they don't like that, they can either request the day off (they may or may not get it off though) or just not work there.
A large percentage of Disneyland Cast Members (employees) are college students who don't mind working holidays. You get paid extra also. =P
And keep in mind that not EVERYONE celebrates Christmas. If Disneyland closed on Christmas, they should also close on EVERY holiday there ever is. Which leaves not so many days to play and have fun in the park.

Disneyland is open everyday, including Christmas. First of all, Disneyland has plenty of guest that don't necessarily celebrate Christmas. Second. Disney has plenty of employees that don't necessarily mine working on holidays.
Once time I was in a grocery store that was open on a holiday and my wife asked the employee if it was a bummer to work on a holiday. The employee was actually quite happy to be working because of the holiday pay. She was single, in college and didn't want to go home for the holiday and there may be plenty of Disney employees in the same boat.

My husband works at Disney World in Orlando, which is also open 365 days a year. Christmas Day is one of their busiest days of the year. The employees get paid double time for working on this day, but my husband has never had a problem getting the day off to spend with his family. Many of the other employees are glad to work for the overtime pay!

No. But you shouldn't do it. Christmas is a time for loving and giving and caring. Not a time for riding amusement rides and being crazy!
