What's the density of your substance?

mL = mg / density

(where density is in the units mg/mL)

In the case of WATER ONLY

1 mL H2O = 1 g H2O

therefore 1 mL H2O is 1000 mg H2O

mg is a mass measurement.
ml is a volume measuremet.

In water only. a ml is = to g

That would be 1000mg.

The question is wrong.mg is unit of weight and ml is unit of volume. So, check your question.
