The deck of cards we use today came from The
Tarot Cards originally ... King, Queen, Jack, 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,Ace all relate to the different nominations of Spades (Swords) Clubs, Hearts, Diamonds (Coins). The Church centuries ago banned Tarot Cards and thats how today Cards came about, Tarot Cards in disguise. I dont know who invented the card games.
