He isn's actually showing he is upset/down, so I don't want it to be obvious that I'm trying to cheer him up, but I want to show that I care. He's the type of guy who doesn't really ever talk about his feelings, so anything sappy is definatly out.

Then the best thing is just to keep his mind occupied..This way he can't think of his lose.Thats about all u can do...So be with him and find something he likes to do and do it...Good luck hon

Just be there for him and hope that if he needs you he will say so. I think cuddling up with a good action movie and a hot girl always cheers a guy up.

The nicest thing you can do for him is to be his friend and let him able to let his hair down with you and acknowledge his pain. If he doesn't want to talk, don't be "wounded" - it's not personal, it's just who he is. Pray with him...or if that's not an option - pray FOR him.

Get him a card er something.....just to let him know that you are there for him and if he ever needs to talk that it is cool for him to come to you!
