I was trying to show my son how to fold a paper throwing star, but i can't remember how it's done. We used to make them all of the time in grade school, but that was many years ago.

yeah get a 1/2 length wise
1. fold it in half
2. find the center, and fold the two edges 90 degrees from the center(so it looks like a badly drawn thunder bolt)
3. turn it over and make triangels from the thin part(both edges)
4.get another 1/2 length wise do steps 1-3 with that
5.connect it together
