If you have uninstalled your sound card drivers, you just need to locate your drivers and reinstall them. If you have your original sound card CD, run the installation program. If you don't, then find out the name of your sound card and go to the manufacturer web site. Hopefully, you have Creative Labs Soundblaster because they have great support at their web site (www.creativelabs.com).

You can go to Control Panel > System > Device Manager > Refresh your hardware list. Your sound card will be detected again and try to reinstall the drivers by doing a right-click on Properties. The drivers should be still within your PC/system. Otherwise you can go to http://www.driverguide.com and download the right model to install

Who ever makes your Sound Card, lets say CREATIVE does you would go to the company website and either do a search for drivers or look for the link called SUPPORT or SOFTWARE or DOWNLOADS.
