I've always wondered: did "hassinfrassin" and all the rest of it actually mean something, or was it just random syllables?

(Muttley as in the dog half of Dastardley and Muttley - I remember them from Stop the Pigeon and Wacky Racers, but I suspect they originated elsewhere.)

He was swearing. It's kind of like how people say "@&!*!!!" in comic strips.
