deffinately not!!
Pregnancy tests measure the level of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) in your system.
HCG is produced by the embryo and is first detectable in the mother's bloodstream as early as 6-8 days after conception.
Home pregnancy tests measure the level of HCG in urine. These tests cannot measure a level lower than 25, so they do not become accurate until the day you expect your period, at the earliest. A negative result before then is meaningless, since there would not be a high enough level of HCG to detect even if you were pregnant.
Blood pregnancy tests can measure any number from 0 on up. That's why they are more sensitive, and can become positive 6-8 days before your period is expected.

You know your own body. If you "feel" pregnant, chances are you might very well be. I found out at 5 weeks that I was pregnant. You can take a test, but really you should wait until time for your next period or you will probably get a false negative. If you have breast tenderness that is one of the first signs!
Good luck!

I found out at 4 weeks pregnant. I was having frequent urination and so I thought I was having a bladder infection (wasn't expecting my period for a couple days.) I went to find out if it was a bladder infection and found out I was pregnant and the frequent urination was caused by my kidney's working in overdrive. I just took a regular over the counter pregnancy test and it came up positive, it was light but still positive. I'm 21 weeks now and just found out it's a girl :)

No, its not too early. When I found out we were unsure how far along I was. I had several ultrasounds but they couldn't see anything. I was possibly only 4 weeks along. (Unfortunately I lost my baby). They say you have to be around 5-9 weeks to be able to see the baby. I hear some tests can be positive after only 3 weeks.

i'm five weeks. I knew at four weeks, before my missed period came. I could feel something different in my uterus..down in my pelvis. I could feel it.
This is also my second.
My first pregnancy I was 2 or 3 months along before my bump popped a little and then I knew I was pregnant...no other hints, felt great.
It's good to be so in tune with your body. Congrats on the pregnancy, and good luck! :)

not to early to know if you are pregnant, but you have to take a test to know for sure that early on.
