I don't think it's a good idea at all for an 11 year old to have a phone.

If you insist on buying them one, get something like a WalkieTalkie. I've seen the Disney channel advertise something like it. It's expensive to look after a cellphone, and it's more then likely that an 11 year old will lose their phone. Razrs are so expensive too...

I think it's a ridiculous cell phone for anyone under 18. You're basically giving them an expensive toy that they can (and almost definitely will) lose or break or both. When that happens they'll just ask for another one, because they can't grasp the idea that someone has to actually pay for it.

not really...it is way too technologically advanced...i agree, the Firefly(phone with four buttons) is the best phone for an 11 year old...it is for emergencies
