Fertility does not mean that you are or are not able to conceive. When a woman is ovulating, that means she is at her most fertile point in her menstrual cycle and she is MOST LIKELY to conceive at that time. However, a woman can became pregnant any time she has unprotected sex.

Fertility is your ability to have kids.
You may hear people say they are more fertile at specific days in their cycle, these are the days when they are most likely to conceive a child.

Fertility is define as the ability to procreate - to get pregnant, whether or not you can carry to term.
Subfertile is defined as the inability to become pregnant or to carry to term.
True infertility is also known as being sterile - you have no chance of getting pregnant, ever.
