You may say it is giving victory to the terrorists. Not many people know that a ton of governments have negotiated with terrorists in history behind the scenes, but the won't publicy state that. But you know what? I think, like a lot of people, that we are heading towards the End of The World. I know it sounds paranoind, but look in the Middle East. Crazy Iranian leader is building nuclear warheads to fire at Israel and North Korea is already possesing powerful weapons that could be used against the US, and we are screwed in Iraq. I see an imminent nuclear war, and so do many people, and not just paranoids or psychics. If the Middle East had a Palestinian State, what would they be fighting for? What is to lose by creating a Palestinian State? I would still support Israel, but I would attempt to work with leaders around the world to create a Palestinian State. Hey, conditions wouldn't get any worse. Please just state why I'm wrong or right and don't be rude. This is what I believe.

Interesting question you have asked here. The issue is complex and an enigma
to many governments. Israel is in occupied territory as a resolution in the creation of
Israel did strip the Palestinian people of land. Imposed upon them if you wish.

Israel and Lebanon are the only two democracies in the Middle East and both are deserving of our support. Palestine is fractured and in a mini civil war right now.
If the so called Arab League had Palestine’s people and interest at heart, they would contribute more money to help stabilize the tensions currently rampant there.

The real problem here is Israel and how they usurp land from the Palestinian people
and convert it into settlements. Once these settlements are established they are then referred to as neighborhoods. The owners of the land are displaced and become refugees.

Now if your state ordered you off the land that has been in your family for multiple generations at gun point and placed you in a crowded refugee camp, how long would it take for you to start a resistance? How long would it take for living conditions to deteriorate? What if the army was ever present and your treatment was brutal on a daily basis, how long would you take it? This is what the people of Palestine live through each and everyday and sooner or later it festers into violence.

The Arab League can then use the suffering of the Palestine people as a rally point against the Israelis and their principal backers the United States. This allows for States like Iran to finance groups sympathetic to their cause and vision for this region. It also increases the instability of the Governments and acts as a domino affect as seen in Lebanon earlier this year and currently.

The time for negotiations and the window of opportunity to deal with two of the most important players in the region are nearing an impasse. The United States made a poor decision attacking Iraq foregoing explicit information and ignoring intelligence on what would happen in the region if a prolonged war took place. Syria, Iran, The United States and Israel all have to sit in the same room and negotiate new terms for the Middle East.

Until this occurs the people of Palestine will never truly have their own State.

I would not go to Palestine occupied Israel, let alone strike a pose (stance) there.

It is no longer about the land--they were offered 95% of what they wanted and didn't take it. What they want is to wipe Israel off the planet.
