society wise i would think its a quite different as there are people interacting within an ethnically diverse society. In Singapore there are malays, chinese, indians, etc.
Australia there are causians, mainland Aborigines and Torres Strait Islanders, etc.
culture wise Singapore has many cultures depending on your ethnic society, while in Australia they have a long history of visual arts, cheers

Singapore has a multi-racial society, there are many different races living in Singapore. Thus, there's a wide diversity in terms of culture.
Australians are mainly Caucasians, unlike Singapore, whereby the country is mainly made up of Chinese, Malays, Indians and Eurasians.
In Singapore there's no one main culture, but various culture depending on their enthicnity, which is different from Australia.

why don't you try asking how are singapore and australia similar?

1st and foremost, australia has four seasons whereas singapore doesn't.

2nd, australia has lots of land but singapore hasn't.

3rd, go to both australia and singapore and see & feel the difference yourself. It's better if you self experience it. Who knows, you might feel its the same. just a piece of land with human beings and animals, sea & sky, day & night. hee... :D
