Firestorm obviously has not heard the reports last week about how Rumsfeld wants drastic change in Iraq.

that any intelligent person will look into all facets and doesn't have to commit on anything---and that has been sorely lacking. It doesn't hurt to talk to your enemies, you can bomb them later if you want anyway. Your enemies need to see you as a person, not as a cartoon and vice versa

Dude, you need serious help if you're getting information from Infowars. Fifty percent of that stuff is total BS... However, I'll answer your question.

I agree with a gradual withdrawl of troops. HOWEVER, my conditions on this are very strict. We MUST do this in relation to the number and competence of the Iraqi police and security forces.

I DISAGREE with Gates if he truly believes we need to talk to/negotiate with terrorists. If you negotiate with terrorists, you will ONLY encourage more acts of terror.

Well, makes me feel for both of them, but I can't quite reach them. Your asking for an a opinion so I will give you an opinion for an answer. It sucks, it has always suck, you are replacing tweedle dumb, with tweedle dumber. George Bush should leave the appointments up to Dead Eye Dick Cheney. Oh wait a minute maybe he did. Either way it sucks.

Working together to end the war is a great idea!!! Instead of constant criticism the democrats should try "crossing the aisle"
