Draw squiggly lines around the outside border and trace them over in a dark blue then color in with a lighter blue to make a 'river.'

then get a nature magazine or find some good pictures of rivers or lakes online and cut them out with craft scissors or cut out little waves from construction paper to have a border for all your pictures.

Try to get some catchy river or lake quotes and summarize your needed facts into brief statements that cover all you need to know but don't bombard people with a lot of words.

Try to spread out the pictures and information so that they balance out.

Well my poster is always perfect, and what I do is I always write it with my hand I don't print information out of internet cuz it looks like I just copied and pasted it, and when you write it by hand it looks like you have taken time to do it and tried hard. Write it in the form like newspapers, you know how they separate the categories? It's going to look perfect. For titles use colors and for the information use only black markers. Trust me is going to look PERFECT as you want it. Good Luck!!! =)

Make it as realistic as possible with animals, trees, rocks etc. Add some interesting spray of some musk that smell like a river. Then make it into 3D.
