How common is it for females to be more than a week late for their period? I'm worried that my girlfriend may be pregnant even though we have never had anything more than oral sex. I have orgasmed before while near her vagina but not inside. Is it still possible for her to get pregnant from that?

Each time I went to enter her she said it hurt too much so I said thats fine and we stopped but the fact that she is 4 days late and I'm in Cali while shes in Texas has me worried.

I'm 20, shes 19. Like I said, I wasnt in her when I orgasmed but I was near. Is it possible for the sperm to get inside still even if my penis isn't up against her?

It's possible, but doesn't sound likely, and really depends on the situation. My guess would be that she's late because she's either got irregular periods or she's stressing about it.

If you've never had anything but oral sex then it's very unlikely she's pregnant. And if you've never entered her fully then I'd say that it's probably just stress that's keeping her from being on time. If you have had sex it's also pretty common for her to be a little late then too. Remember that when you even just try to enter her that you should be wearing a condom. Your precum has sperm in it too.

There are a lot of factors in having a late period.Stress, weight loss,age, and just depending on how regular her periods were before, and how long she has been menstruating can make a huge difference in regularity.Even though there was no penetration she could still get pregnant from close genital contact.I do not mean to stress you out over that, but it is something you may need to consider in the future as well.Please, if you are not ready to be parents, or even worse deal with STD issues , always wear a latex condom!

It is common for girls to be more than a week late. It is also common for them to get pregnant when they are having sex without the use of birth control. It is common for them to get STDs and to give them to their partners, especially if they aren't wearing condoms. Sperm has been know to travel up the vaginal canal and result in pregnancy. It is rare but it does happen.
If you have to ask this question, you probably don't know that much about sexual reproduction or your own body and are not prepared for the responsibilty of being a father. I beg you to please go to see Planned Parenthood together and get some sex education to prevent unwanted pregnancy. To do anything else is simply irresponsible and self destructive. Buy a copy of Our Bodies, Ourselves and read it with your girlfriend.

The thing to do would be to ask your girlfriend how regular her periods are usually. If they're like clockwork, then something may be going on which will complicate your life. (Depending, of course, on what you mean by "near" the vagina.)
The human race has continued in part because spermatozoa are really good at finding ova. Sorry.

I dont think she's pregnant just from everything you've said. [I'm having my own 'scare' right now too -_-'] She says it hurts when you try to enter her so she must be a virgin also...
Don't worry though most women take 3 to 4 weeks to get their periods, most don't get theirs like clockwork but it would be good to talk with your girl friend about that.

it is normal to be late i also had that problem very common to yours, i was 4 days late. thankfully i got my period on the 5th day. however she could be preganct if you orgasmed near it only if it travel inside her vagina.

Common. im like 2 weeks late everytime, and im never prego. if no bodily fluids were excahnged then unlikely, just maybe get a prego test in case, dont worry tho its not likelu

It's very common.. A lot of woman aren't even on a regular schedule.. Not that it matters b/c there is no way your g/f is pregnant by you.. Intercourse is required... Stay safe
