Still running the Army, his boss is going around trying to find a way out right now. If nothing else the election did it made Bush go in a different direction. it even made him fire a guy, something that should have been done months ago. Can we say waffle. Instead of a taco. I bet he is eating George Bush's waffles.

He got a bad rap.
The Russians were defeated in Afghanistan because they sent large numbers of troops there, and they became just a lot more targets for small hit and run gorilla fighters.
Most military advisers at that time agreed that a small specialized force was the best way to fight in Iraq.
