I think of how long I've been married to my wonderful wife, who I have been with for the last 7 years of my life. And I think about all the things that I hope will happen in the year to come, as my wife and I begin our 8th year of marriage in 2007.

But then I add another one. I may have had a mundane year, but my family is healthy, I have a roof over my head, and nothing really horrible has happened to me this year.
