I'm not sure if I spelled that right...

Well actually I thought they had'nt decided between more than just god....i thought they also considered buddah, all the other religions, I just never felt the same about Christianity as everyone else did and i'm starting to doubt it myself, and a lot of Christian people believe that their way is the ONLY way and if you don't believe it you've made the wrong choice. I figure, who am i to say what really happened?

good question. it is odd how some christians seem to have so much at stake in having you to think like they do. like wtf? do you get some kind of 'sining discount' if you can sign other people up, like an old school columbia house deal?

i was over in r&s today looking to raise some hackles, and i was very surprised at how many good, thoughtful people actually are out there. they would say, something like, go with your faith (what 'feels' right) , and good luck in your quest.

atheists who try and convince you their way is better, more logical are just as bad. It is equally impossible for either side to "know", in a precise, philosophically approved sense of the word, anything about what happens after death, which is why agnosticism is philosophically the most honourable. (and most maligned, it seems. people on either side of the fence will sling rocks at ya.)

a big dose of healthy scepticism is a wonderful thing that can serve you well in all aspects of your life. stick to your guns, shun ideaology of all stripes colours and persuasions and you will find your path is always secure.

wtf? that wasn't funny...

aroo...

God is very real to me. I would be insane without him. You are struggling with your beliefs and looking for answers. Don't let strangers decide about your soul. That is a journey each of us has to make alone. Good luck to you dear.

All it is is not knowing if "god" is real, that's all. It's between an Atheist, and a whatever type of Catholic... That's all...you just don't know if god is real and haven't chose, that's what it is.
