I love pirates of the caribbean, and orlando bloom but not all of my friends do so i dont wanna do a theme like that? are there any other good ideas? not very expensive, not immature, and also for maybe 12 other girls my age? lots and LOTS of details please and maybe some good sites? thanx a bunch! lol.

A sleepover is the best thing to do, and early can't hurt (several years ago I planned my party late and ended up never having it).
The first thing would probably to start in the afternoon, maybe straight from school on a friday, or around 4 or 5 on a Saturday. Then have an activity, like go out to a movie (if there are any good ones coming out around then), or go ice skating or do some sort of arts thing, like a Made by You (if they have them near where you live). Salons are okay, but I get a sort of barbie-seque vibe, which brings me back to third grade, and is not mature. And trying too hard to be mature is even worse than being immature. Then when the activity is over, maybe around 6 or 7, go back to your house and have food, maybe pizza or pasta or chinese food, or something more original like sushi or indian food. After dinner, have several movies ready (maybe a pirates of the caribbean movie or one with Orlando Bloom, like Elizabethtown or Lord of the Rings), or make an expedition to Blockbusters. Then you can watch movies, or go on the computer and talk to people online, or gossip about other people. And have good snacks, like chips and popcorn and candy and soda. And maybe make your own sundaes for dessert. Themes can either go very well or very bad, so its safest to not have one (although it could be fun to have a 20's or 50's or 80's themed one and have everyone dress up). Just a sleepover with friends and food and movies and internet will give you a good time. Although, most likely there will be some sort of a small 'snitch', so be prepared to soothe people's feelings. There are alot of other things, but I think I've written enough for now. I hope it goes very well. Good Luck.

Have a sleepover, buy chips, soda, candy, etc. Rent movies, stay up all night and watch them. Play flashlight tag. Read scary stories to each other and watch a scary movie. Play pranks(not to mean) on the first people to fall asleep. I'd suggest not doing a theme because it kind of childish and you don't want anything immature... You could have a dinner party where everyone dresses up and acts like grown-ups, then revert back to your childish selves and do the sleepover thing. See a movie, go ice-skating. Go camping or camp in your back yard. Have fun and happy birthday!!!

Not having anything to do with orlando bloom or pirates of the caribbean.

Well a dance party is always fun.girlz and boyz.Have music and refreshments. This could be done at your house or you could rent a place if you wanted. If you do it at you house all you have to do is pay for the food. And of course you and ur friends have to know how to dance. And that's it.Then maybe some of the girls could stay over.

Unrelated to Pirates or Orlando Bloom...

How about going to one of those restaurants where they cook the japanese food right on the cooktops in front of you, then a sleep-over? Or go to a local salon for manicures then go a movie?

Or simply have the sleepover, rent and watch movies, play games, answer Yahoo questions, do each other's nails and hair, etc.? If you can swing it, financially, start it early enough to have dinner together...e.g. even pizza delivery, or Chinese food, or find something you all can cook together.

I'm sorry if I wasn't much help. I have two sons and we definitely low-keyed it on the birthdays past the age of 10 or 12...just a few friends over for a sleepover...video games, food, etc.
