These bags are thousands of dollars. I know people are buying them for the designer name, but why spend that much money on something so ugly? I don't care who makes it, if it's ugly I wouldn't want to carry it around. Anyone agree?

I think most cheap bags are ugly because of the quality. A designer handbag is unique and won't fall apart in 2 days. It is like carrying a piece of art you invest in. People who love designer always notice a good handbag.

Omg! yes. I thinm the most decent handbags that i have seen are baby phat. Im not the biggest fan of the store (b/c it is pretty overpriced) but SOME of their purses are cute. Other than that most handbags are horrible. Especially the pattern of Louis Votan or something looks just like the Gucci purse and they all end up looking the same to me. but yes. Completely agree.

I really don't get it. My cousin lives for Coach, Vera Bradley (which I personally think is the ugliest bags I've ever seen in my life, my grandma makes the exact same quilt patterns and I'm not paying hundreds for it), and Prada. I consider myself lucky if I get past a holiday spending less than $100 on her.
My bag is a carrier for my junk. It gets thrown on the ground, dropped in things, filled with all sorts of stuff, it doesn't need to cost more than my clothes.

I do!! Those handbags are way to expensive! You can get basically the same style for a lower price! And you can spend your well earned money for something important..

People have thier own opinion in handbags. I think people should not spend so much money on handbags but more important things. I don't think those expensive hanbags are ugly, that's my opinion. It's life!!

I totally agree. Literally, some people are BANKRUPT because they spent so much money on bags. They need the brand new ones every time one comes out. And besides, they're not even all that pretty! People should spend more SENCE then CENTS. =)
