Screamo Music?

Question

How do u sing screamo music? There is this part in a song that im trying to learn where the singing screams YES....but i have no idea how to do it...this may sound stupid but i want to learn how to sing this song..help much appreciated...thanks

you have to learn to scream. i know it sounds funny, but there is a way to scream for long periods of time without coughing up blood, or even hurting your voice at all. it comes from the diaphragm and not the lungs. but the only way to master it is to practice +singing+ from the diaphragm. onec you have that down you can move on screaming. it'll take a while but it's worth it. then you can start your own screamo band
