Okay, we've all seen those eHarmony commercials... finding happiness online.... So my question is.. How many people here have actually found happiness online? Did it blossom to a long-term relationship or even marriage? How many people have had them go horribly wrong?

I've met (literally, not just talked to online) a couple of people, never had a bad experience. The man I'm seeing right now, I've been seeing for two years and I met him on Yahoo personals. He's a wonderful man, so it can happen, BUT - there are a lot of wierdos out there, so you can't just take everything at face value. Trust your instincts. If you get wierded out by somebody, don't just walk away, RUN!

It is like anything else in life ,hit or miss. I have been trying online dating for a few years now. Have met some really nice people and them some who are not so kind. Best of luck 2 u.Online or not.....

i agree on onlne friendships like penpals but i object on online relationships like dating kuz its stupid, all these online dating machines and crap are pointless because most of the people on there are probally shy in real life to get in a real relationship, so why do u think they will have the courage to go meet whoever dey met online??? its just stupid
even now in those nerdy online role playing games many teens pretend to date each other when they dont even know who they are dating and they dont even know how to "date" i say dey are all nerds =]

E - Harmony, if I could put a plug in for them =) is great. Because they match you up with people on different levels of compatibility and they make the communication phase so much easier and stress free.
