Isildur's Bane.
The name comes from Lord of the Rings. It's another name for the One Ring. The context it is used in is that it's the the thing that Isildur who slayed Sauron (The Lord of the Rings) adored so much but that also betrayed him and was the cause of his dimise. The One Ring has only one master.
Hence the One Ring was Isildur's Bane.
It sounds really like a good name for a metal band and pays homage to LOTR.
