sorry, to clarify....I mean when the helmet is sat in the outfield....usually behind the keeper.

If the ball hits on the helmet kept in the outfield, no extra run will be given.

none for just getting hit in a helmet, however it depends where the ball winds up, if it lands far enough after hitting(the helmet) and you are still standing meaning nor hert to run
than you can run back & forth and get as many runs you can,no more than 4 though.

Five penalty runs. The same conditions apply if it hits a fielder's cap/hat when it is on the ground.

Its a five run penalty. Also, if the bowler uses their baggy as their bowling marker, and the ball goes in contact with it, it is also a five run penalty.
