it's roughly 70% cooking oil, 30% Kerosene. You can vary it a bit. My peugeot 405TD ran on 100% oil. If your diesel pump is the Lucas/CAV model, just stick to diesel - the seals won't handle cooking oil.

It has to be declared and have tax paid on it. The whiff of a chipshop will make you hungry and give away what you arerunning it on. But you'll probably never get caught.....

there's not much to it. It basically involves filtering and refining used cooking oils and rendered animal fats, and sometimes adding some petrochemicals.

Plenty of websites that will give you the particulars. Just do a search.

But unless you own a Chinese Restaurant or Or a Cap'n Greasebomb's Fish and Chips or something similar, it's doubtful that you will produce enough to make the effort worthwile.
