I say go get a new turntable or repair the old one.

Go with MP3s. You don't have to buy a CD to get 3 songs you want out of 10. You don't have clutter all over the house, the aggravation of opening the CD and it is better for the environment.

If your worried about Cd's getting outdated in a few years, you can opt for downloading songs fromt he internet in MP3 format directly to your computer. It saves money, and Mp3's interface with many of today's electronics. They are highly unlikely to be outdating in the next five years.

Cyndee : if your turntable broken have it fixed first because
the music dvd's wont work until then . What yourself can do
is take mp3 over to an certifide repair shop local !

CDs ? don't you mean IPod ? (although you might want to load the IPod from CDs . . . which can be obtained at the library or friends or swap meets or )
