Does Melvin Udall (character) mention in the film that his father suffered from OCD? If so, what does he say about it?
I forgot if he mentions about his father having OCD or not and need to know for a paper I'm doing!!! I can't watch the film all over again, I'm running out of time here.
Please help!

I Love that movie!
I don't recall Melvin ever mentioning his parents, however I do recall a scene....when Melvin is walking the dog, and he notices the dog trying to step over the sidewalk lines, just like him...and he says (to the dog...in a 'fatherly' way) "Don't YOU be like ME!"

No he never mentioned his father at least in the original movie it may have been cut out!

he didn't talk about his parents at all and did not mention it. OCD is not hereditary.
